The UK Battery Industrialization Centre is the national manufacturing development facility providing battery manufacturing scale-up and skills to support the transition to an electrified future. The brand new facility has been created to support industry with development of battery technologies across industries. UKBIC can be described as a ‘learning factory’ for organizations to develop blueprints for manufacturing processes and prototyping-at-scale of new electrodes, battery cells, module and pack structures.
