Abstract:  Vertical integration of eMotor design and manufacturing is becoming increasingly important to automotive OEMs. This presentation will discuss Ford Motor Company's journey on in-house eMotor design using fast and flexible CAE tools to support in-house manufacturing though the design of the Maverick eMotor.

Jacob Krizan is the eMotor Design Technical Expert at Ford Motor Company product development. He is responsible for leading the design of traction eMotors for Ford’s global products. Krizan received his B.S. from Bucknell University and his Ph.D. from Purdue University in Electrical Engineering.
