Learning Outcome
Following completion of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Understand the Ansys Workbench workflow to account for Shear Dependency caused by Draping.
- Use Material Designer to calculate the material data with shear angle dependent elastic properties.
- Create Modeling Plies with the variable Material and Draping.
- Review the variation of elastic properties throughout the ply domain.
- Solve and postprocess the simulation model.
- Compare the structural response of the model with and without variation in material properties.
