Course Overview

This presentation is an introduction to 3M™ Brand Tapes and Adhesives. It is intended for Ansys users who are interested to simulate adhesive performance in their design programs. This presentation will cover the benefits of adhesive bonding, some background on the science of adhesion, and best practices for designing strong adhesive joints. In addition, we will explain how to load 3M material data cards into Ansys and best practices to build a model which will most accurately represent the adhesive performance.
