Ansys RedHawk-SC Multichip Analysis and Debug

Course Overview

This course will teach you how to perform multichip analysis using the Redhawk-SC tool. You will be introduced to the multichip methodologies for 3DIC designs, the 3DIC background and latest trends, different multichip flows, creating the configuration file for 3DIC setup and the data requirement for setting up 3DIC analysis. This course covers comprehensive hand-on training labs and will provide you with an opportunity to apply several key concepts covered during the lectures.


  • Familiar with SeaScape (SC), reading input data, creating basic views, performing data integrity checks is highly recommended.
  • Basic understanding of static and dynamic analysis using Redhawk-SC is essential.
  • Familiar with basic API’s in Redhawk-SC is recommended.

Teaching Method

Self-paced slide presentation and lab demonstration to showcase the solution.

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand 3DIC detailed introduction and 3DIC advanced trends.
  • Create a multichip configuration file using the RedHawk-SC tool.
  • Perform multichip analysis and debug multichip analysis.
  • Run different multichip flows using the Redhawk-SC tool.
