Getting Started

Course Overview

This is the first and only industry standard timing aware, dynamic IR aware ECO solution. Find out how two industry gold standard tools have partnered together to give you the best solution for last minute signoff fixes with the best turnaround time.

Prerequisites

  • Basic understanding of power integrity analysis using RedHawk-SC.
  • Understanding of elements such as voltage drop, timing fixes, various ECO capabilities like down-sizing/Vt swapping and instance movement.
  • Familiarity with basic Python.

Teaching Method

Self-paced slide presentation and lab demonstration to showcase the solution. Emphasis is placed on tool background & methodology.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand the full usage model of Ansys RedHawk-SC and Synopsys ECO Tweaker solution.
  • Setup both tools and review results, feed result to APR database etc.
