Getting Started

Course Overview

This hands-on course is designed for new or current RedHawk-SC users and serves as a “Quick Start Training” for who may want to refresh their skills or get training on the following topics:

  • Big Data and SeaScape Platform
  • Setting up RedHawk-SC & Performing EM/IR Analysis
  • SeaScape Help system & APIs

Prerequisites

  • Basic understanding of IR and EM signoff is expected. A basic familiarity with python is helpful.

Teaching Method

Self-paced slide presentation and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge. Emphasis is placed on tool background & methodology as well as workshops.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand RedHawk-SC modelling and flows, the SeaScape big data platform and APIs, as well as a basic proficiency of how to run the tool for different analyses.

This is a 1-day classroom course covering both lectures and workshops. For virtual training, this course is covered over 2 x 3-hour sessions lectures only.
