This course will guide you by example to the fundamentals of RaptorX electromagnetic solver within a traditional IC design platform. The course will explain the basic RaptorX UI settings, and a step-by-step procedure to obtain electromagnetic models capturing accurately all electromagnetic interactions in IC designs for any combination of passive devices (spirals, MiM/MoM capacitors), arbitrary routing, planes (solid or perforated) and more.
- Have a basic understanding of custom IC design flows and electromagnetics.
- Have some general familiarity with electromagnetic solvers.
- No prior RaptorX knowledge or experience is needed to attend this workshop.
