Environment Source Alignment in Ansys Speos Software (Self-paced Learning Available)

Course Overview

An Environment Source in Ansys Speos® CAD integrated optical and lighting simulation software generates light from an HDR image.

This source can provide a high level of realism of your scene, but if the CAD geometries you are simulating are not aligned with this environment, you can have a strange effect in your final physics-based render making it less realistic.

Prerequisites

  • Ansys Speos Human Vision

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge. A training certificate is provided to all attendees who complete the course.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Assess the Ansys Speos software Environment Source.
  • Set up an Ansys Speos software Light Box (export and import).
  • Create a new origin.
  • Use the Ansys Speos software Live Preview to align the system.
