Course Overview

VRLab is the Lab from Ansys Speos® CAD integrated optical and lighting simulation software allowing you to open results of observer or immersive sensors. It is compatible with stereoscopic results. In this course, you will learn how to display one of the results in Head Mounted Displays, such as Vive, Oculus or Varjo.  

Prerequisites

  • Ansys Speos Human Vision
  • Ansys Speos Virtual Reality Lab

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge. A training certificate is provided to all attendees who complete the course.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Set SteamVR to work with VRLab.
  • Set up the room in SteamVR (room scale or stand only).
  • Deploy an immersive or an observer result in Head Mounted Displays.
