Ansys Zemax Optical System Design (Self-paced Learning Available)

Course Overview

The Ansys Zemax Optical System Design training series provides all necessary knowledge to get you up and running with OpticStudio sequential mode. You will learn how to model, analyze, optimize and tolerance various optical systems, while getting used with the different tools and features included in OpticStudio.

Prerequisites

  • Knowledge of fundamental optical concepts.
  • Experience in the use of OpticStudio is assumed.

Teaching Method

This is a self-paced course covering lectures, demonstrations, and workshops. A training certificate is provided to all attendees who complete the course.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Model and analyze the performance of simple sequential systems in OpticStudio.
  • Build merit functions to optimize system performance.
  • Identify system sensitivities and predict manufacturing and assembly yields.
