Ansys Zemax Illumination and Stray Light (Self-paced Learning Available)

Course Overview

The Ansys Zemax Illumination & Stray Light training series is the recommended training for non-sequential mode and assumes a background in optics but not necessarily with Zemax OpticStudio.

Prerequisites

  • Knowledge of fundamental optical concepts.
  • Some experience in the use of OpticStudio is assumed (i.e. setting up sequential optical systems, changing system units, specifying wavelengths, etc.).
  • No experience in using Non-Sequential Mode is required.

Teaching Method

This is a self-paced course covering lectures, demonstrations, and workshops. A training certificate is provided to all attendees who complete the course.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Model and analyze the performance of an illumination system in OpticStudio.
  • Build merit functions to optimize system performance and tolerance it.
  • Build a complex object.
  • Run a Stray Light Analysis.

Learning Options

Training materials for this course are available with a Ansys Learning Hub Subscription. If there is no active public schedule available, private training can be arranged. Please contact us.

Self-paced Learning

Complete a class on your own schedule at your own pace. Scope is equivalent to Instructor led classes. Includes video lecture, workshops and input files. All our Self-Paced video courses are only available with an Ansys Learning Hub subscription.
