Simulation of Adhesive Curing in Ansys LS-DYNA Software

Course Overview

This course gives a detailed description of how adhesive curing can be simulated using material model MAT_GENERALIZED_ADHESIVE_CURING (MAT307) and cohesive elements on Ansys LS-DYNA® nonlinear dynamics structural simulation software. The course provides a technical overview and keyword characteristics as well as some examples that show how to create a material card for this material, how to model a case for successful implementation and a real-world automotive case with focus on the post-processing of the results.   

Prerequisites

  • General knowledge of Ansys LS-DYNA Software.   

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.
