Introduction to Ansys Polyflow for Blow Molding (Self-paced Learning Available)

Course Overview

The primary goal of this course is to cover the basics of using the Ansys Polyflow user environment. Students will learn the details of how to use the modeling capabilities and move through the simulation process by completing hands-on exercises. The exercises focus on common polymer and glass processing applications such as blow molding and thermoforming.

Prerequisites

  • A technical education and background in fluid mechanics is recommended but not mandatory but an engineering degree is not required.
  • This course is designed for clients who have little to no experience with Ansys Polyflow.

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand the procedure of simple blow molding and thermoforming problems using Ansys Polyflow
  • Learn how to use the most important functions of Ansys Polyflow
