Getting Started with Ansys Fluent Multi-GPU Solver (Self-paced

Course Overview

This course showcases the multi-GPU solver in action and, through simulation examples, explores some of the modelling capabilities and solver features supported by the Native Multi-GPU solver in the 2023 R1 version of Ansys Fluent. Overall, you will gain a deep appreciation for the significant performance gains delivered by the multi-GPU solver while also reducing hardware costs and minimizing power consumption compared to traditional CPU-driven solvers.

Prerequisites

Completion of the following courses is highly recommended:

  • Ansys Fluent Getting Started: Basics.
  • Ansys Fluent Getting Started: Beyond the Basics.

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge. A major emphasis is placed on teaching by software demonstration and on the development of a solution to a design challenge from start to finish.

  • Perform CFD simulations using the multi-GPU solver in the Solution mode of Ansys Fluent 2023 R1.
