Ansys provides production proven, model-based development solutions for critical systems and software engineers that reduce cost, risk, and time-to-certification. Ansys SCADE products have the world’s largest track record in terms of usage of its products for DO-178B/C certified development.

This course provides an overview of the DO-178C and DO-331 standard for Aeronautics software development. You will learn about the organization and documentation of the standard. The course focuses on the SCADE model-based approach.

Agenda

This is a 1-day classroom course.

The course is divided in 3 parts

In M01, you will learn the fundamentals about international standards used in airborne systems for software development and verification (DO-178C, DO-331, and DO-330) in order to be able to understand them.

In M02, you will learn how the SCADE products allow you to follow a process life cycle conformant to these standards and how they can help you in streamlining your software development and verification activities. M02 is has two alternatives:

  • Either M02a - DO178C/DO-331: Model-Based Development and Verification with SCADE Suite.
  • Or M02b - DO178C/DO-331: Model-Based Development and Verification with SCADE Display and SCADE Suite.

In M03, you will learn how the DO-178C certification kits provided by Ansys, together with the SCADE products, can be used to support the certification audits of airborne software by the aeronautics safety authorities.
