Course Overview

This course demonstrates modelling and simulation workflow for analyzing Cable Radiated emissions, focusing on the impact of various cable parameters, such as braid configuration and pigtail design, on the electromagnetic field.

Prerequisites

  • Prior knowledge of Ansys EMC Plus UI.
  • Understanding of cable parameters such as Braid, Pigtail etc.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Design Cable RE test setup by leveraging Discovery and MHARNESS design capability.
  • Setup and run Electric Field Analysis with Braid, Pigtail etc.
  • Setup and run S-parameter simulation of Cable
