Ansys HFSS Multipaction

Course Overview

The Ansys HFSS Multipaction course covers secondary electron emission (SEE) and RF Discharge.

Prerequisites

  • Completion of the HFSS Getting Started course or equivalent familiarity with the HFSS 3D Modeler, workflow, solver setup, and post-processing (plotting results graphs).
  • Familiarity with physics related to multipaction.

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand how HFSS simulates multipaction
  • Know how to set up multipaction simulations in HFSS.
  • Know how to plot multipaction simulation results in HFSS.
