Study of Autoignition in an IC Engine Using Numerical Calculation and Optical Measurements - Presentation

Behavior of low-temperature reaction and autoignition in an IC engine during SI knocking were investigated using in-cylinder high-speed photography, light absorption spectroscopy and CFD analysis with FORTE. In addition, the effects of intake pressure and fuel blend on two-stage HTHR behavior of an HCCI engine were studied. This presentation given at the 2014 ANSYS Automotive Simulation World Congress.
