Creating CAD Geometrics from 3D Scan Data using Ansys Discovery Software
Ansys Discovery™ 3D product simulation software is commonly known for its modelling and simulation capabilities.
This tutorial will delve into the transformation of 3D scan data into fully functioning computer-aided design (CAD) geometries utilising the Ansys Discovery tool. Specifc focus on removing imperfections within scan data geometry are detailed. Additional steps for applying a mesh to the converted CAD geometry are included. This resource contains three different tutorials focused on different sports equipment, including a field hockey stick, tennis racket, and ping-pong (table tennis) paddle.
