Aerodynamic Analysis with Ansys Fluent Part 1
Ansys Fluent is the industry leading fluid simulation software known for its advanced physics modeling capabilities and industry leading accuracy.
This tutorial is the first of two focused on aerodynamic analysis in Ansys Fluent and will introduce some modeling techniques to determine lift and drag on given objects. It
covers how to import geometry, set up symmetry boundary conditions, and sweeps.
This resource is part of a set of tutorials, designed to introduce the basic functionalities of Ansys Fluent via Ansys Workbench and was created in collaboration with the University of Newcastle as part of the Ansys Funded Curriculum Program.
Learning Outcome
Understand how to model lift and drag forces in Ansys Fluent, implement symmetry boundary conditions, conduct sweeps
