Course Overview

This course explains how to combine the power of VRED and VRXPERIENCE Light Simulation to evaluate the final result of a lighting design intent with engineering constraints.

Prerequisites

  • Autodesk VRED from 2020.2 version
  • The completion of Ansys VRXPERIENCE Platform Overview
  • The knowledge of the module on Materials and Lighting of Ansys VRXPERIENCE Platform Data Preparation Basics

HMI Specialist, Optical Engineers

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand the global workflow and links between the different tools
  • Optimize rayfile parameters generation and launch it with VRXPERIENCE
  • Visualize the rayfile inside its environment with VRED

This is a half-day classroom course covering both lectures and workshops. For virtual training, this course is covered over 1 x 2-hour sessions lectures only.

  • Module 01: Getting Started

  • Workflow Presentation
  • Geometry Export from VRED
  • Combination of Design and Engineering data in VRXPERIENCE
  • Launch of a rayfile simulation from VRXPERIENCE
  • Import of a rayfile inside VRED
  • Visualization of the result in VRED
