Multiphysics Optimization of an LED Light Bulb Using ANSYS

ANSYS Icepak 15.0 links to ANSYS DesignXplorer within the ANSYS Workbench framework. This capability allows a more robust parametrization and multiphysics optimization using inputs from multiple Workbench modules.

This webinar showcases DesignXplorer optimization of an LED light bulb heat sink using geometric input parameters from ANSYS DesignModeler and output parameters from Icepak and ANSYS Structural. The optimized design includes a minimal heat sink mass and thermal stress while constraining the temperature to a given limit.
