3D Finite Element Structural Analysis of Peter-and-Paul Cathedral Spire Metalware

The paper presents the results of a finite element (FE) analysis of the stress-strain state (SSS) of the Peterand-Paul Cathedral spire metalware that is one of the basic architectural and historical dominants of St.- Petersburg (Russia) (Figure 1). This research has been fulfilled in view of restoration works carried out to a 300-anniversary date of the St-Petersburg foundation.
