Dependence of Composite Stiffness and Strength Properties on Temperature Draping Shear and Imperfections - Application Brief

The new composite workflow released with ANSYS Workbench and ANSYS Composite PrepPost17.0 enables you to define up to nine dependencies of the elasticity parameters (Young’s moduli and Poisson’s ratios) as well as the failure criteria (stress and strain limits) to scalar fields. The material’s local effective properties are evaluated during the structural analysis and subsequent post-processing based on the state of the fields used to describe them.
