Astronautics’ Model-based, Cyber-Safety Certification for Critical Systems
Each day, 2.3 million passengers fly in the United States, totaling an astonishing 840 million passengers annually. Ensuring their safe transportation depends on the extensive data exchange between interconnected systems throughout the aviation ecosystem. Central to this ecosystem, the aircraft generates and exchanges data with numerous critical systems. Cybersecurity for these critical aircraft systems is essential for safe operations and is mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Astronautics has developed a Risk Management Framework (RMF) that employs Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes to ensure that our avionics products are cyber-safety resilient and to produce the necessary artifacts for FAA cybersecurity certification.
