Halodi Robotics is bringing robots out of factories and into everyday environments. Using Ansys simulation software through the Ansys Startup Program, Halodi Robotics has developed EVE, the world’s first robot to operate with enough power to lift heavy objects while also being gentle enough to hand a laptop to a human colleague. Chief Operating Officer, Stein Erik Maurice, offers insights into the intersection of human and robotic worlds.
Halodi Robotics innovates humanoid robot helpers. The roadblock? How robots are actuated. Using Ansys simulation they and their considerable ingenuity, they created Eve, “the world’s first robot to operate with human strength, in near silence, to safely work among (and interact with) people.” Chief Operating Officer, Stein Erik Maurice, shares his fascinating insights into the human and robotic worlds with you.
“In order to get robots out of factories and into the real world there is a massive disruption that needed to happen in the way that robots are actuated. Using simulation tools enabled us to make breakthroughs in a sensible timeline. We needed the best tools and the best support in order to move quickly. In our relationship with Ansys we got all of that.”
