Overview

Building on the first two sessions of our Robotics Optical Sensor Design Webinar-to-Workshop Series, this free workshop turns theory into practice. Through step-by-step guided instruction, participants will design a robotic sensor application, from optical lens configuration and scene simulation to radar integration and validation. No software license required.

What Attendees Will Learn

  • Design a camera module lens system and configure ISP sensor parameters
  • Set up dynamic glTF scenes in Speos with GPU-accelerated straylight & lighting simulation
  • Model RF radar sensors in HFSS and validate detection range performance
  • Integrate optical and RF sensors into AVxcelerate for autonomous navigation testing
  • Export simulation results and apply workflows to your own robotic applications

Who Should Attend

Robotics engineers, system designers, optics & lighting engineers, photonics engineers, and technical professionals seeking practical, hands-on experience with sensor simulation workflows for autonomous systems, regardless of prior simulation software experience.
