The 2026 R1 release introduces major enhancements to Ansys ModelCenter, enhancing the user experience and strengthening connectivity with other tools, resulting in a significant boost in engineering productivity.
Ansys ModelCenter now offers deeper integration with SysML v2 system architecture modelers, enabling the auto-evaluation of SysML v2 expressions. Once requirements are verified, engineers can instantly share the requirements verification results to be viewed in the Ansys SAM UI. This unified workflow enables systems engineers to easily manage and track requirement verification results.
As part of its open architecture, Ansys ModelCenter introduces the CAM-Based Python Component Plugin, which supports Python scripting for automation and customization workflows. This enhancement expands Ansys ModelCenter’s ability to integrate with other tools providing Pythonic APIs, further strengthening its MDAO and MBSE connectivity.
Ansys ModelCenter continues to evolve with innovative development tools and a modern, connected user experience. The new Ansys Engineering Copilot introduced in Ansys ModelCenter integrates AnsysGPT and provides direct access to technical blogs and forums within the IDE, enabling natural-language assistance and accelerated onboarding.
UX improvements include a refreshed analysis view background and new ModelCenter icons, making navigation faster and ramp-up easier.
