This release introduces expanded psychoacoustics metrics, enhanced sound composer capabilities, and UI/UX enhancements – empowering engineers to analyze, simulate, and optimize soundscapes more effectively than ever before.
Updates include:
A brand-new Python library for sound quality analysis that now supports customized, automated, and batch processing for large volumes of sound data, with over 30 updated acoustics and psychoacoustics indicators aligned with the latest industry standards.
Sound Composer in PyAnsys Sound enables the prediction and auralization of a product’s overall soundscape by combining multiple acoustics sources derived from both test data and simulations.
User experience and interface enhancements in SAS include the ability to display multiple curves simultaneously in the psychoacoustics module, improved curve export functionality, and more intuitive handling and display of cursors for analysis and playback alignment.
