Life's Engineering Tales: What kind of engineer could you be?
Engineering isn’t just about numbers and formulas—it’s also about curiosity, creativity, and teamwork. This resource helps kids see both sides of it. Inside, you’ll find an infographic introducing the different fields of engineering, a PowerPoint deck with real examples linking to Ansys videos, blogs, and stories, and a set of activity cards that encourage curiosity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
These materials are perfect for classrooms or STEM clubs (ages 5+), inspiring students to explore ideas, ask questions, and find answers together. As they work through the examples, they’ll see how engineers use both imagination and logic to make a difference.
Most importantly, they’ll discover that everyone brings something valuable to a project, and that teamwork is at the heart of innovation—and maybe even realize how their own strengths can help shape the future.
