Optimizing Filling and Liquid Transport with CFD Simulation

Liquid filling is a process widely used across numerous industries such as pharmaceutical, consumer products, electronics, battery manufacturing, food and many others. While the filling process remains very mature, it continues to experience several engineering challenges. Examples of these challenges include minimizing fill time while avoiding splashing/foaming and ensuring the complete fill of the package (bottle, vial). Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation addresses these challenges, however, it has been historically viewed as too complex to setup and run. This webinar highlights recent advances in Ansys Fluent that make filling simulations much easier to setup and quicker to execute.
