Day 1 & 3 Attendees Will Learn:

  • Rapidly explore electric machine designs using built-in parametrized and customizable Ansys Motor-CAD templates for early trade-off analysis

  • Evaluate conceptual designs holistically with integrated multiphysics solvers, optimization workflows, and efficient mapping using Motor-CAD

  • Capture high-fidelity effects, including 3D phenomena, AC winding losses, custom core loss models, and circuit coupling via Ansys Maxwell

  • Leverage coupled Motor-CAD, Ansys Maxwell and Ansys optiSLang worklows to perform sensitivity analyses and optimization studies, enabling efficient design space exploration across multiple levels of model fidelity.

Day 2 Attendees Will Learn:

  • Create high-fidelity 3D FEA electromagnetic models of magnetic components in Ansys Maxwell to evaluate field distribution, inductance, leakage & AC winding losses.

  • Explore and optimize magnetic designs using parameterized core, material, and winding models to meet performance, efficiency, size, and loss targets.

  • Establish links between component‑level electromagnetic behavior and converter‑ and system‑level performance.

  • Analyze EMI/EMC from component to system level using harmonic injection and virtual pre-compliance testing with simulated LISN and EMI receivers.
