Event Overview

In Euro NCAP 2026, virtual testing is recognized as a core pillar of Active Safety evaluation. With new regulations broadening the types of scenarios vehicles must handle, automotive leaders are looking to simulation to enable faster development, robust validation and scalable deployment of next-generation safety systems.

While physical proving-ground tests remain essential, simulation is now indispensable for efficiently validating the wide range of scenarios that are impractical or cost-prohibitive to recreate in the real world.
