AI-Powered Design Challenge

Hands‑on AI‑assisted workflows leveraging Ansys optiSLang, with integrations across Ansys Mechanical, Ansys Fluent, Ansys Electronics and other Ansys solvers.

Experience how AI-powered design can accelerate decision-making, improve design quality, and reduce iteration time—through a structured, hands-on virtual challenge.

This challenge provides access to a browser-based virtual lab environment (up to 5 hours total), guided objectives, and live expert support to help you confidently apply AI-powered design in real-world scenarios.

Venue:
Virtual

What Is the Challenge?

The AI-Powered Design Challenge is a self-paced virtual program designed to move participants from foundational understanding to practical application of AI-powered design.

Technologies and Workflows Covered

Participants will work hands‑on with core Ansys technologies used in real‑world AI‑driven engineering workflows, including:

  • Ansys optiSLang for automation, DOE, AI‑assisted optimization
  • Ansys solvers (e.g., Ansys Mechanical, Ansys Fluent, Ansys Electronics) – applied through automated workflows

  • AI‑enabled design exploration to reduce iteration cycles and guide design choices

How the Challenge Works

  • 100% virtual and self-paced

  • No software installation or licenses required

  • Up to 5 hours of guided virtual lab access

  • Live office hours hosted by our ACE (Ansys Customer Excellence) team, where participants can:

    • Ask questions about the weekly challenge

    • Get guidance on lab exercises

    • Discuss best practices and real-world application

Challenge Explorer Track – Automation & AI‑Driven Design Foundations

Focus on:

  • Building automated engineering workflows using Ansys tools
  • Applying AI‑assisted optimization to real parametric design problems
  • Understanding how Ansys optiSLang enables scalable, repeatable design exploration

Outcome:

Ability to build and adapt AI‑assisted, automated simulation workflows applicable to your own engineering projects.

What to Expect

After submitting a request and receiving approval, participants will receive an email invitation with detailed access instructions for the browser-based virtual lab environment (up to 5 hours), along with weekly ACE-led office hours for expert guidance. Where applicable, optional reporting support is available to help summarize participation and outcomes for management review
