Overview

The session introduces Ansys Fluent and how it can be used for aerodynamic analysis of STEM Racing cars. Ansys Fluent is the leading tool for computational fluid dynamics and this webinar will focus on helping new users understand its solver environment and interface. It covers the complete simulation workflow, including selecting physics models, defining numerical methods and controls, initializing and running the solution, monitoring convergence, and post-processing results. Join this session to learn how to efficiently navigate the software and generate reliable results for STEM Racing applications.

What Attendees Will Learn

  • Build confidence in supporting students to use simulation as part of their design process.
  • Get hands-on with Ansys Fluent solver UI navigation and a STEM Racing-focused workflow.
  • Postprocessing of results using tools such as contours, vectors, streamlines, reports, and others.
  • Access resources that can be used in the classroom for STEM Racing clubs.
