Sustainability & Eco Design Exercise Collection for the Ansys Granta EduPack Software
Sustainable development and eco design have moved from “nice to have” topics in engineering curriculum to essential knowledge for every new graduate to have. Ansys Granta EduPack™, a teaching software for materials education, also supports teaching about sustainability and eco design using the additional data available with the Sustainability databases. This collection of exercises specifically includes questions on sustainable development, eco design, and usage of the Eco Audit tool within the Ansys Granta EduPack software. Specific topics include eco properties of materials, energy storage and power systems, legislation and regulation, nations of the world, critical materials, and life cycle thinking.
