Governments, research institutes and corporations are searching for ways to meet environmental regulations and guarantees by decreasing waste while maintaining production levels. By using ANSYS engineering simulation, in many cases, environmental issues can be predicted and compliance ensured during the design stage. For instance, pollutant plumes in both air and water can be simulated or river scour can be foreseen.
In addition, products from ANSYS can assist in designing and improving equipment for emissions control, containment and treatment. For example ESPs, SCRs, SNCRs, pumps, clarifiers, storm overflows, reservoirs and a large variety of other tools can be optimized and structural integrity of containment vessels can be determined through engineering simulation.
