At Ford, Sankaran is responsible for electrification technologies, namely, energy storage system, e-drive system, motors, inverters, converters and high-voltage electrical distribution systems. He has held a number of roles there, including product development, for which he led successful implementations of Escape, Fusion, Energi and Focus hybrid and electric vehicles. He was named by Automotive News as one of the top 100 most influential leaders in electrification in 2011.
Sankaran holds a number of electrical engineering degrees, including a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. He also received an MBA from the University of Michigan.
At Procter & Gamble, Mark Meili is responsible for a broad application of modeling and simulation technology across product, package and manufacturing system design for the the global fabric, home and personal power business. He focuses on classic fluid mechanics, structural mechanics and heat transfer along with process dynamics and factory floor design using discrete event simulation. With more than 28 years of career experience, Meili has held positions in manufacturing engineering, process development and processing technology with a focus on liquid mixing and processing of complex rheological fluids.
