About This Webinar

Reducing motor noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) is crucial in many automotive applications.

NVH design can't be considered in isolation. It should be regarded throughout the motor design process alongside the other aspects of motor performance to give the best balance of performance and noise, avoiding delays and increased costs through late-stage redesign and noise mitigation.

In this webinar, we'll explore how motor noise can be considered from the start of the concept design and optimization process in Ansys Motor-CAD and how this analysis can be refined as the design develops using Ansys Maxwell and Mechanical. Finally, we'll show how Ansys Sound can listen to the simulated motor independently and when combined with other masking noises.

What Attendees Will Learn

  • Assess motor noise quickly in Ansys Motor-CAD
  • How design choices for NVH and performance interact
  • Perform high-fidelity simulations to build knowledge as the design develops
  • Options for listening to simulated motor choices
