Discover how to use PyAnsys Automation Framework and easily automate the complete design workflow of an Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) motor. This webinar will show you how to achieve an initial design analysis with PyMotorCAD. We will begin the design setting in Ansys Motor-CAD, export the 3D model to Ansys Maxwell, and then use pyAEDT for mesh settings and post-processing. The results will calibrate the Ansys Motor-CAD design model for a two-way thermal coupling.

Giulia has been an application engineer at Ansys since 2020 where she mainly works in the development and maintenance of PyAEDT. She previously worked at Motor Design Ltd. where she gained experience in building workflow and scripting. She holds an M. Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Pavia (Italy) and currently lives in Switzerland.

Ravi has been an application engineer at Ansys since June 2021. His current work focuses on multiphysics analysis of different machine types with Ansys Motor-CAD and workflow development with PyMotorCAD. He received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in electrical engineering from Aalto University, Finland, and iscurrently based in Wrexham, United Kingdom.
