Ansys 2025 R1: Fluent CPU Solver Updates

Discover the new enhancements in Ansys Fluent for 2025 R1.

For 2025 R1, we’ve made substantial enhancements to your Fluent software, including:  

  • Enhanced Physics: New models and automation options added for electrochemical and aerospace studies, including updated battery thermal abuse models and enhancements to solver numerics for high-speed external aero studies.
  • Meshing Speed-Ups: To facilitate faster pre-processing times, mesh speed-ups for the fault-tolerant and watertight meshing workflows have been improved by up to 30X.
  • Fluent Web Interface Updates: The recently launched Fluent Web Interface has been updated with watertight meshing (WTM) to enable a light end-to-end workflow experience in a single user interface (UI).
