Global Head of GTM for Engineering Simulation on the Cloud, Amazon

Sandeep is a technical executive and product leader with experience in engineering simulation, automotive, autonomous vehicles and emerging technologies. He was a Technical Manager of Application Engineering at Fluent when it was acquired by Ansys in 2009. At Ansys, he became Global Director, Head of Go-to-Market Strategy and Head of Product Strategy for Automotive Industry. He then became the Director, Head of Product Strategy and Product Management for the ADAS & Autonomous Vehicles product line. In this role he created product roadmaps as well as formulated and implemented a go-to-market plan. Sandeep was also the key advisor to the CEO, CTO, and senior management on Autonomous vehicles. Additionally, he managed a project creating the first ever multi-platform autonomous vehicles simulation platform for the Indy Autonomous Challenge. Sandeep is currently the Global Head of GTM for Engineering Simulation on the Cloud at Amazon.

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune
  • Master of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras
  • Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University
