Convergent provides COMPRO, a plug-in to Ansys which enables composites process modelling. COMPRO allows the simulation of the cure and associated property development of composite materials, leading to predictions of temperature, deformations and spring-in, residual stresses, and various forms of processing defects such as porosity and wrinkling. COMPRO can be used for thermal compliance analyses, spring-back analyses, tooling compensation, cure cycle optimization, defect prediction, and other common composites processing tasks. In addition to the software plug-in to Ansys, Convergent provides composites process modelling training, materials characterization services, as well as composites process analysis services.
