Ansys CFD (Fluent and CFX) Turbulence Modeling
(Self-paced Learning Available)

Course Overview

Turbulence often plays a key role in industrial processes. The understanding of turbulence and its related phenomena is important to optimize processes or products. Ansys is a technology leader in the area of turbulence modeling, offering a comprehensive suite of the most advanced turbulence model formulations, covering a broad range of flow regimes including even the most complex flows.

This advanced training course on Modeling Turbulent Flows with Ansys CFD (Fluent and CFX) is designed for existing users of Ansys CFD (Fluent and CFX) and will cover the various turbulence models and near wall modeling treatments in Ansys CFD (Fluent and CFX).

Prerequisites

  • Completion of the Ansys Fluent or Ansys CFX Getting Started course is required.
  • Experience with Ansys Fluent or Ansys CFX is strongly recommended.

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to;

  • Select the most appropriate turbulence model, depending on your particular application and the required simulation accuracy.
