Applus+ DatapointLabs Technical Center for Materials is a US-based center of excellence for the measurement of physical properties of diverse materials needed for product development, CAE, and R&D, providing data for over 1,800 companies around the world, including automotive, aerospace, industrial, consumer products, electronics, and material supplier verticals.
With our material testing services, TestPaks® for CAE, and Matereality® software for materials, we help companies build enduring data collections that accurately represent the materials used in their products. To date, more than 30,000 materials have been tested by our laboratory, including plastics, metals, rubbers, foams, adhesives, and composites. Recognized as an approved test lab by leading OEMs, we are ISO 17025 and Nadcap accredited.
The company delivers research-quality material data inputs for CAE in as fast as five business days for standard tests. Our TestPaks® for CAE allow users to order all the material testing needed for a specific application in one step, and to receive material models ready for import into their CAE software. Raw data, material input files, test reports, and any validation results are deposited directly to each customer's secure, Matereality database.
Matereality® Software for Materials gives companies the means to build databases to store properties, CAE material files, and material information on any material. The built-in suite of web-based software helps users visualize and understand material data, create CAE models and manage materials information.
