Yes. You can directly import CAD into Ansys Workbench by easily dragging and dropping a geometry component into the project schematic. To download Ansys Workbench, first, you must be an Ansys customer and have access to the Customer Portal. Ansys Workbench is included in these software bundles: Structures, Fluids, Fluids and Structures, PrepPost, and Optical. Ansys Workbench is also included in the free Ansys Student bundle.
Once you download the commercial or academic bundles on the Ansys Customer portal and install the Ansys Structures and Fluids software packages of your choice, you can access Workbench in the Ansys folder from your Stvariousart menu.

Ansys Workbench has automated, easy-to-use solutions to simulate fluid-structure interaction (FSI) problems accurately and efficiently. Modeling approaches can vary depending on the level of FSI occurring, but Ansys Workbench has solutions for both one-way and two-way coupling. A simple drag-and-drop task will directly link your CFD and FEA analysis to transfer and map loads for one-way coupling. One-way coupling simulations can easily be transformed into two-way coupling using the System Coupling component with the same drag and drop approach.
