About This Webinar
Learn about the latest updates and functionality in Ansys Zemax OpticStudio and Ansys Zemax OpticsBuilder. This webinar will show new features and capabilities in detail. This 2023 R1 Release will update Ansys Zemax OpticStudio, which will include the Composite Surface (CS) property, allowing users to add the sag of one surface to the next surface. This enables direct tolerancing of the surface irregularity of any sag-based surface – with no workaround needed. With Ansys Zemax OpticStudio Enterprise, users can now look at the change in optical performance due to surface deformations and rigid body motions (RBMs) separately. As a user, you can look at the RBM effects on their own, which is a first-order problem of “where are my parts?”
Ansys Zemax OpticsBuilder offers a way to simulate your environment by placing fold mirrors that allow your optical product to fit tight space constraints. All known errors with the tool are addressed to offer a more user-friendly and stable experience while positioning the Fold Mirror Tool for additional functionality in the future.
