Ansys Customer Portal Registration

* A Technical Enhancements and Customer Support (TECS) or Lease license agreement is required.
* For Academic products users, only the designated Ansys Support Coordinator (ASC) of the Academic site can register.
* A corporate and individual email address is required.

Q. How can I apply for an Ansys Customer Portal account?

A. Please access the following link and register:

Q. How can I retrieve my customer number?

A. Please visit the following link: https://www.ansys.com/support/customer-number-retrieval


Ansys Customer Portal Log in

* A Technical Enhancements and Customer Support (TECS) or Lease license agreement is required.
* For Academic products users, only the designated Ansys Support Coordinator (ASC) of the Academic site can log in.

Q. What is my user name and password?

A. The user name is your email address and the password was created when you registered with the Ansys Customer Portal.

Q. I forgot my password. How can I create a new one?

A. Please access the following link and create your new password:
https://support.ansys.com/portal/site/AnsysCustomerPortal/template.FORGOT_PASSWORD/

Q. I get the error message "Bad user name or password." What should I do?

A. You have entered either an invalid user name or an incorrect password.
The user name is your email address and the password was created when you registered with the Ansys Customer Portal.

Q. I get the error message "You have attempted to log in too many times. Your account has been locked." What should I do?

A. This message is displayed after you have made four consecutive login attempts with an incorrect password.
To deter spambots, you will be locked out for 90 seconds for each failed login attempt. After that time period you may attempt to log in again.

Q. How do I reset my password?

A. Before logging in to the Ansys Cutomer Portal
Please access the following link and create your new password:

A. After logging in to the Ansys Customer Portal
Please access Site Preferences on the top right, where you will find a link to reset your password.


Deactivated (Inactive) Account

Q. I have been notified that my account is deactivated. Why is my account deactivated?

A. Please contact your sales representative.

Technical Support Requests

* A Technical Enhancements and Customer Support (TECS) or Lease license agreement is required.
* Registration of Ansys Customer Portal is required.
* Contract with direct office is required.

Q. How do I get technical support?

A. Please log in to the Ansys Customer Portal and click Submit/Check Service Requests to create a service request.
Please see how to Manage Service Requests. 

Q. What is my user ID and password for the Siebel eCustomer Portal?

A. Same as your user name and password that you used to log in to the Ansys Customer Portal. User IDs have character limitations. Please confirm the screen displayed before logging in to the Siebel eCustomer Portal, especially if your email address is more than 30 characters.

Q. How do I download the latest version of software?

A. Please log in to the Ansys Customer Portal and select Current Release under the Downloads tab.

Q. How do I download documentation?

A. Please log in to the Ansys Customer Portal and select Current Release under the Downloads tab. Documentation is at the bottom of the Current Release site.

Q. How can I apply for an account for the Ansys Learning Hub?

A. If you have your Ansys Customer Portal account, please log in to the Ansys Customer Portal and select Tutorials & Training Materials under the Knowledge Resources tab. At the top of the page, there is a banner with the link to register. Please note: if you have previously had access to the Ansys Learning Hub then contact your Ansys Account Manager. If you don't have an Ansys Customer Portal account, please contact your Ansys Account Manager or email training@ansys.com with the following information:

Q. What is my user name and password for the Ansys Customer Portal?

A. User name is your Ansys email address and password is your Ansys SSO password.

Q. I cannot log in to the Ansys Customer Portal with my Ansys email address and Ansys SSO password. What should I do?

A. Please create a ServiceNow Ticket.
