Overview
As industrial robotics rapidly advances, the ability of autonomous systems to sense and adapt to complex environments is critical for safety, efficiency, and productivity. In warehouse automation, sensors are the foundation of navigation, enabling robots to detect obstacles, localize within dynamic spaces, and coordinate with human workers. Simulation plays a crucial role in the development of industrial robotics, enabling the rapid prototyping of sensor modules and the virtual testing of in-use scenarios.
This webinar will demonstrate how Ansys simulation empowers the development of robust sensor solutions for industrial robotics. Using an autonomous warehouse robot as the application example, we will showcase how optical and RF sensor technologies can be modeled, optimized, and validated in virtual environments before physical testing. Attendees will learn how to leverage the Ansys Optics suite for camera module design, Ansys HFSS for modeling RF sensors, and incorporate them into digital environments with Ansys AVxcelerate. Through these demonstrations, the presenters will highlight how Ansys multiphysics simulation accelerates sensor integration, reduces prototyping costs, and ensures reliable performance in real-world conditions.
